Electronic voting provides our owners a convenient and secure alternative to paper based voting for body corporate meetings.

FAQs
1. Can my scheme utilise electronic voting?
Yes, as long as a motion is passed to allow electronic voting within the general meeting.
NOTE: The majority of our schemes have already passed a motion approving electronic voting at an AGM. If your scheme has not, we will automatically include the motion within the next AGM. Capitol will commence the rollout of StrataVote for AGMs where schemes have a February 2021 year end onwards.
2. How much does electronic voting cost me?
Capitol will not be on charging the cost of electronic voting.
3. How do I access online voting and do I need to register?
The process is simple. When it is time for your next meeting you will receive an email from “Strata Voting”. One click on the personalised link and you have access to vote and review your documents.
4. How do I change my vote if I have already submitted it?
You will have access to change your vote up until 1 hour prior to the scheduled meeting. All you need to do is click on the link in your email and edit your vote.
This is an exciting and long overdue legislative improvement in the management of bodies corporate especially in the way in which meetings are conducted. We look forward to assisting you through this process.
